A brain child of Dr.Madhu Jain, the year 1999, LP had been applauded by all the parents for its usefulness in right growth of their children. Over the decade and a half, Learning Pitara  has grown  above 70  centers across Mumbai and other cities in India, including overseas countries where our course had been appreciated a big way.

To create “A Path for Achievement” based on the compelling truth that improving education is the need of the time... AND…We value celebrating an accomplishment of each child, be it big or small regarding their behavioral and academic growth.

Personality Development @ Learning Pitara

WE use the term ‘Personality Development’ in its broadest sense, to include the individual’s sense of happiness and unhappiness, his self-confidence, his attitudes toward himself, toward his family, and toward his community, his motivation, goals, ideals, ethics, morals, physical actions, and his feelings of security. Personality, as used by us, implies “the total mental state”.

Three Essentials @ Learning Pitara

It is true that thousands of factors contribute to, and shape, the final personality of a growing human being. It is equally true that in the long run only three basic needs are essential to the development of a normal personality. At Learning Pitara, these three absolute requisites for the normal development of a child’s personality are categorized as (1) love, (2) discipline, and (3) knowledge.

Knowledge @ Learning Pitara

For ‘Knowledge’ feature it is important that the child receives the greater measure of knowledge unrelated to his achievement and successes. Because knowledge is feeding of the brain, which otherwise creates a vacuum in child and results into fidgeting, non- constructive day dreaming, unproductive talks or extra quietness, doing things which are very often criticized. To eradicate or minimize all such things from a child’s system, we channel their mental energies through knowledge.

Environment @ Learning Pitara 

From the point of view of the community, the success or lack of success with which an individual contributes to the welfare of the world depends in the main upon the environment he had as a child. What do children want? Acceptance from the parent, a sense of worth from the teachers, respect from their friends and a feeling of success at a new task. At Learning Pitara, we try and make it possible for every child to achieve this.

Counseling sessions are given to the patents to Identify and bridge gaps between Parents & the Child, Plan a study strategy for the child, Provide alternate learning options to the child, Set targets and schedules for the child, Study skill training, Guide exemption and provisions during examinations, Design work approach for students, Monitor home study and achievements, Motivational Program for your child etc.

FROM THE FOUNDER !

Every single day Learning Pitara strives to shine light upon its children with the sole purpose of delving into child’s psyche and augmenting the intellectual, spiritual and behavioral growth of children. Almost 20 years of my life has been dedicated in empowering our children. In every child lies a ‘miracle of vigorous unfolding’ and Learning Pitara leaves no stone unturned in shaping the child’s brain into their highest form. 

I want to help parents and children in releasing their tensions. Tensions are at its peak when it comes to fulfillment of parental dreams. Being a mother, I believe parents must not impose a dream upon their children, but simply tell them the pros and cons at every instance and let the child decide its own path to determine their goal.

As parents our duty is to ensure that our child isn’t traveling on the wrong path for too long; however allow the child to reflect upon its decisions so they can have a self-understanding of the rights and wrongs. Parents, please refrain from controlling your child too much as children will develop rebellious tendencies to move away and do things they were earlier restricted to do.

Our children are our assets, a right investment at an early age will surely give fruitful returns in the long run.

While keeping our roots intact of following the traditional Gurukool system, Learning Pitara intends to be at par with the dynamic technological changes too. Learning Pitara aims to develop an online portal for students to engage in multi-educational activities which will provide them questions according to their brain type.

FREE counselling is one of the core precepts of LEARNING PITARA that we take very seriously as we believe it helps improve quality of life across all sections of society. So we WILL BE venturing into online counselling , keeping in mind the limitations of online interactions.

HELPING KIDS FIND THEIR PURPOSE 
What is purpose? Purpose has four defining features: dedicated commitment, personal meaningfulness, goal-directness, and a vision bigger than self. The development of purpose is intricately woven with the development of identity. Thus embarking on a voyage of discovering one’s purpose is critical to during the growing up years. But we intend to do so as research shows that young adults that seek purpose report higher life satisfaction. 

TO DEVELOP "MEANING IN LIFE THROUGH CHILDREN'S EYES"
Does the concept of ‘meaning in life’ have relevance for children? 

Relatedly, what are the (dis)connections between children’s understandings of their own lives, and what matters to them, and, the adult concept of ‘meaning in life? To examine these over-arching questions, we would be working in following areas with each of Learning Pitara student.

1. What do children think are the most important and meaningful things in their lives?  
2. What do children think is the best way to live life? 
3. What nature of goals and purpose do children have for their lives and do they believe that they have character traits and strengths which would help them to fulfil their goals/purpose?
4. How do children's individuality and the differences between them show themselves in their perspectives on meaning in life?
