Our Functioning

At Learning Pitara, we explore the individual working of every child's brain. Then how do we tackle all the diversified brains together? It takes just a willingness to accept that different instruments play the same music in different ways."
The current education system is in the midst of a crisis. To turn things around, we all need to focus on, How our children learn rather than concentrating on controlling their minds. That means beginning to recognize, honour & respect the different ways children learn.

One of the biggest miseducations we suffer from is the assumption that all human being use the same process for thinking. In school, little attention is given to how children think. It s usually assumed that everyone s mind operates in the same way as the teachers does. This is not right.

Every person s brains chooses a particular pattern. Because information is most easily retained and retrieved when the process follows a certain sequence. As information is first received by our conscious minds, then sorted by our sub conscious minds and finally integrated by unconscious minds.

There are six possible ways that we can think, on the concept of Visual (Looker), Auditory (Listener) and Kinesthetic (Mover):

 Conscious  Subconscious  Unconscious
Visual Auditory Kinesthetic
Visual Kinesthetic Auditory
Auditory Kinesthetic Visual
Auditory Visual Kinesthetic
Kinesthetic Visual Auditory
Kinesthetic Auditory Visual
